The application area are the using of 2-state controller and 3-state controller and the control of regulating valve. The universal analog input for RTD temperature probe, thermocouple or current/voltage signal is freely programmable. Setpoint value, actual value and all parameters are shown on two 7-segment LED displays (red/green) with one or two decimal place. The values can be shown in °C or in °F. There is a relay output with a switching capacity of 3 A / 230 V and a binary input. The switch position of the relays are shown with yellow LEDs. Each relay can be assigned a different function. The binary input can be used, for example, to reduce operation and setting, to activate a ramp or a timer or to start autotuning. The voltage supply is AC 110 to 240V. The controller got a ramp function with adjustable gradients for continuosly change of the setpoint value. Additionally a special firing curve can be used for small ceramic kilns so there can be a controlled start-up and a time-dependent burning. Setpoint value, gradient and burning time can be entered at the device by the operator. As an alternativ to the frontside operation, the controller can be programmed by a setup program und USB interface without a additional power supply.
